Flagship features

Prebid traffic shaping

Adapt who you invite next based on the signals you just saw. Fewer wasted calls. Better competition.

Dynamic flooring

Floors reflect recent clearing behavior by slot and context. Designed to help bidders be more competitive in real time.

Viewability optimization

Sequence and refresh with intent. Lift revenue by making ads more likely to be seen sooner.

How it works

1) Observe

We read Prebid events and slot context. We track bid CPMs, bid rates, win rates, and more.

2) Decide

We shape the next request. Which bidders to request, what floor to set, and how to time the requests.

3) Learn

We run multivariate tests. We log outcomes to GAM and your analytics. We keep what wins.

Why this matters: small, fast decisions compound over a session. You earn more without heavy migrations or lock-in.

Why “Rebounder”

In basketball, fewer than half of shots go in. Rebounds are how teams turn misses into points.

The web is similar. A page has many ad opportunities. Some are missed or underperform. Rebounder watches the play and adjusts in real time. If the last attempt was weak or off-target, we change the next one. The goal is simple. Fewer empty trips. More quality chances.

Built by James Strang and Graeme Thompson

We met in 2016 at a monetization company. Graeme brought deep software expertise and a passion for clean, elegant code. James came from web development with a drive to solve hard problems and push boundaries.

We learned to work well together. Teacher and student, switching roles as needed. After that company, Graeme led software teams outside ad tech for a time. James stayed in ad tech and helped young companies grow, then moved into full-time consulting on technical problems.

Over time James saw the same pattern. Publishers were asked to fund the free web with less budget and more constraints. Industry changes made long-term bets hard. So he sketched a plan to automate the best optimization tactics he had learned. The task was bigger than one person. He called Graeme. Two months later they were testing with real publishers.

Our mission

We want to help publishers fund free, high-quality information on the open web. Free access to knowledge reduces barriers for everyone. If publishers cannot earn with ads, free content turns into ads in disguise. We're here to provide a boost to that value exchange.

Who it’s for

Independent publishers

Lift revenue with the stack you already run. Keep control and keep your data.

FAQ

Does this replace my wrapper?

No. Rebounder sits alongside your stack and guides it.

Will it slow my site?

No. Rebounder's script is loaded asynchronously and designed in a way where it won't slow down page load or ad load.

What data do you use?

Signals you already have such as Prebid events, slot context, header bidder behavior, and page metadata.

How do you measure success?

Our primary metric is Revenue, and we add targeting to Google Ad Manager to help us measure this using split testing. We track some other metrics internally such as bid rates, viewability, and speed for fine tuning.

What is the integration effort?

Add a script to the page, provide reporting access to GAM, and set up a few key values. That's it.

Join the pilot

We are onboarding a small group of partners. You will shape the roadmap and work directly with the founders. If you run Prebid and GAM today, we can likely integrate with minimal lift.
